CONCEPT CASE STUDY

For the joy of finding something new.

CuratorClub concept presentation

01 / The brief

Build an identity for a fictional subscription pairing independent vinyl records with collectible art prints.

02 / The audience

Music listeners and design enthusiasts who value physical media and discovery.

03 / The design challenge

Create a recognisable subscription system while allowing each release its own artist-led character.

04 / The concept process

  1. Define the subscription’s proposed contents and discovery promise.
  2. Establish a consistent sleeve and editorial identity.
  3. Explore a record, sleeve and print as one photographed collection.
  4. Plan monthly reveal, artist-story and unboxing content formats.

05 / The creative decisions

Magenta and black make the packaging immediately recognisable. Strong typography anchors the sleeve while a separate art print creates room for changing editorial content. The record and print are photographed together to make the offer tangible.

06 / The design outcome

A coordinated physical collection illustrates how a subscription brand could preserve consistency across changing monthly releases. No artist partnership or music licence is implied.

07 / Validation & next steps

Secure rights for any commercial artwork and recordings, then test offer clarity, packaging protection and subscription information before launch.

Results status

This concept has not been launched or measured with customers. No sales, conversion or engagement results are claimed. The outcome shown is a visual design study.
